Creator Pitch Submission Terms
Last updated October 11, 2026
Your idea stays yours
Submitting a pitch does not transfer ownership of your concept, format, title or any underlying intellectual property to I Forgot How to Quit ("IFHTQ"). You keep it unless we both agree otherwise in a signed written agreement.
What you're allowing
You allow IFHTQ to store, read, share internally with its review team, and evaluate your submission (including any links or video you send) solely to consider it for IFHTQ Originals. We won't publish your pitch or video without a separate signed agreement.
Originality
You confirm the submission is your original concept or that you have the rights needed to submit it, and that it doesn't knowingly infringe anyone else's rights.
No guarantees
Submitting does not guarantee review within any timeframe, acceptance, a pilot request, publication, monetization or payment. Pitches are reviewed by people; AI tools may help summarize submissions for our team but never make the decision.
Similar ideas
We receive many pitches and develop our own programming. Similar themes (for example, street interviews about failure) are common and may be developed independently. That doesn't mean your specific submission was used.
If you're selected
Any series requires a separate Creator Agreement before publication. That agreement — not this page — defines publishing, distribution and editing rights, monetization, any revenue share (such as 50% of attributable monetization revenue generated by the series), payment terms, term, exclusivity if any, sponsorships, content usage and termination. Creators are independent and are not employees of IFHTQ.
What we don't collect
We never ask for bank accounts, Social Security numbers or tax forms at the pitch stage.
Your data
Contact details are private, used only to review your pitch and reach you about it, and handled under our Privacy Policy. To withdraw a pitch or delete your data, email jarrell@iforgothowtoquit.com.
